Just a few months ago, we celebrated the groundbreaking of our Kinston dishwasher expansion, a major investment that will support stainless-steel tub production and strengthen our operations in eastern North Carolina. Today, that vision is quickly becoming a reality, with the expansion taking shape.

Since construction began this spring, crews have made significant progress, including completing the foundation, erecting the structural steel, enclosing the building, installing the roof and advancing interior work. At the same time, our Kinston team continues to grow, with new talent joining key operations and supply chain roles to support the facility's future success.

The momentum is exciting, and the progress is visible with every passing week. We look forward to the opportunities this expansion will create for our employees, our customers and the Kinston community for years to come.

We were excited to welcome Waqas Sherwani, Chief Operations Officer for North America, to our Electrolux Group Kinston dishwasher factory. Since joining Electrolux Group in August, Waqas has been visiting operations across the region to learn more about our business, connect with employees and better understand what drives success across our manufacturing network.

During his visit to Kinston, Waqas toured the facility and met with employees to learn more about the team and gain insight into the factory’s strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

The visit reflects Electrolux Group's commitment to staying connected to the people and communities that support our business. We look forward to Waqas' leadership as we continue investing in our employees, operations and the future of manufacturing in Kinston.

This summer, employees at our Kinston dishwasher factory partnered with Lenoir-Greene United Way and local community organizations to donate nearly 200 Frigidaire room air conditioners to residents in need across Lenoir and Greene counties. The units helped elderly residents, families with young children and individuals with heat-sensitive medical conditions stay safe and comfortable during the hottest months of the year.

The donation was more than a community project for many employees. As Kinston Plant Manager Jeff Britt shared, many team members were helping neighbors in the communities where they live and work. Together, employees distributed nearly $50,000 worth of air conditioners to families who needed them most.

Electrolux Group has proudly called Kinston home for more than 35 years. Through partnerships like this, the company remains committed to supporting the communities where its employees live, work and make a difference every day.

Electrolux Group introduced two new additions to its floor care lineup: the Ultimate500™ Upright Vacuum and Ultimate500™ Pet Upright Vacuum, designed specifically for North American households.

Built to make every day cleaning easier, the new vacuums combine strong cleaning performance with features tailored for busy families and pet owners. The lineup also brings a fresh look to the category, with the Ultimate500™ Upright available in Ocean Green and the Ultimate500™ Pet Upright in Light Denim Blue.

The launch reflects our commitment to innovation and delivering practical solutions that help consumers care for their homes more efficiently.
